TRAVEL PHOTO DIARY: SAN ILDEFONSO CHURCH & REGINA RICA

Our first destination before heading to Daranak Falls was the San Ildefonso Church. That day was very very hot that I actually thought of having a heat stroke. We went there with my highschool friends and I am very greatful to meet new friends too.

San Ildefonso Church was built in 1778 and the design of the Church reflects on the era that the Church was built; The Spanish Era. This 405 year old Church was made up of cogon grass and wood. The church was also declared as a National Cultural Treasure by the National Commission for Culture and Arts.

The Station of the Cross was also built inside the church, which is dubbed as the most beautiful within Asia.

Our next station was Regina Rica. It was 30 minutes far from San Ildefonso Church. The place was quiet and peaceful.

Our Lady of Regina RICA (Regina Rosarii) is a huge beautiful 71-foot high statue stands on top of the hill.

If you're planning to go there, make sure that you are wearing pants not skirt and shorts. Be sure to also have some cover-ups because they are not allowing it. Proper dress code is a must! Lesson learned from us. :)

The Regina Rosarii is a place where you can free the negative stress and accept the positive vibes. The place where you can feel all the love and God's presence. This place is also a must visit for Holy Week.
