DIY: CAMPING IN BUROT BEACH, BATANGAS

Calatagan, Batangas (via Google Map)

Things to Remember:

  • There are no Celyrosa AC Bus at Pasay Taft Rotonda. According to my source, the bus was transferred to Coastal Mall. The bus terminal in between SOGO and Mc Donalds are all going to Lian, Batangas.
  • Burot Beach is located in a remote area. There's no electricity, it's better if you'll bring your own lamp or flashlights or simply borrow a torch for only Php 80.
  • The bottled water costs Php 25! pretty expensive, huh! It's best if you'll bring your own potable water.
  • Swim at your own risk! There's an agreement that the owner is not liable for any accidents that will happen in the beach however, the movement of water is pretty calm so it is safe to go far out of the water.
  • There are only few trees that will serve as your shed so be sure to secure the place where you'll be placing your tents!
  • To avoid to be bumped in an overcrowded day, I suggest that you should go there in weekdays.
  • Bring and always re-apply sunblock! Ultraviolet rays coming from the sun is not good for your skin!
  • The restroom gets EWWWWWW most of the time.
  • For legal age, don't forget to bring alcohol!
  • Parking here is free!
  • One of the highlight of my day was the sunset! basically because Burot beach's reference point faces west!
