Located in Tanay, Treasure Mountain is one of the mountains of Sierra Madre. Along with the piles of Mountain like, Mt. Batolusong, Masungki, and Mt. Maynoba, this mountain is highly accessible for vehicles and can be reach without hiking. You may ride a habal-habal or a tricycle to go up there.
If you're looking for a destination wherein you can witness the sea of clouds, observe the stars in your horizon, a place to chill, a place to move-on and a place to appreciate God's creation, go and experience it all by yourself.
A Quick Background
Officially known as Treasure Mountain Educational Campsite, Treasure Mountain is where you can experience and witness a stunning sea of clouds. Unluckily, we were not able to observe the sea of clouds but we were able to witness the surreal beauty of the place.
You can do a lot of activities in Treasure Mountain, there, you can do activities such as chasing waterfalls like the Bosay falls (they are offering tour guides to trek at the falls), star-gazing or you may go for a side-trip to Daranak falls, Pililla Wind mill, Calinawan Cave or Regina Rica.

Things to Remember
These are the things that you must remember when you go for an adventure at Treasure Mountain.
- A budget-friendly getaway. I will assure to you that the travel itinerary that we have is a budget-friendly get-away. We've spent PHP500 only for this trip.
- Bring your own sun-block. You know the drill! As the scorching heat penetrates your skin, it is harmful not to apply sun-block. Ultraviolet rays are dangerous as they penetrate your skin. You may get your skin burned or the worst case like skin cancer.
- You may bring your own foods. Treasure Mountain doesn't apply fee for your own foods. I suggest to bring your own food as the food that they sell are a bit pricey. Corkage fee does apply for alcoholic drinks.
- You may do DIY's but be sure to be mindful of time. Treasure mountain is accessible to public vehicles but, please be mindful of time since there are no terminals near the site. The jeepneys that are passing-by are sometimes overload for instance, there are only few jeepneys passing-by the site.
- If ever. In case you were not able to find a jeepneys, you may haggle to the tricycle drivers or habal-habal to take you to the nearest terminal to bring you back to Cogeo Gate 2.
