Remember the good old times wherein you go play around tumbang preso, jackstone, ten-twenty and even wishes to go to Disneyland? Good old times folks, until adulting strikes and you have to pay bills and take a lot of responsibilities.
This destination will help us remember again how good our childhood was when the gadgets where no issue and strong WiFi connection does not even care at all because we have good old folks to play with.
A quick background
↣ It is located at Barangay Mayasang in Lemery, Batangas. The amusement park is similar to Disneyland but uniquely Filipino style. It was constructed by a Japanese businessman as an amusement park, theme-park and water park along Diokno Highway. The construction of Fantasy world stopped when the owner had a problem financially.
↣ Fantasy world is a replica of King Ludwig II of Bavarian castle. It could have been PH Disneyland!
How to get there?
Via Public Transportation
From Manila (via Nasugbu)
- From Taft (Pasay) Bus Station, ride a bus going to Nasugbu, Batangas. Tell the conductor to drop you off at the boundary of Tagaytay and Batangas. Ticket only cost PHP170.
- From the boundary, hire a tricycle that will take you to Fantasy world, Batangas. The ride will cost you PHP50 each.
Entrance
Technically, this abandoned theme-park is not considered to be "abandoned" since it has entrance fee of PHP1000 good for 10 pax. Additional PHP100 will be added if it exceeds to 10 person. We were just three when we went there but, here's the tip for you guys! If ever you'll be there and you're just few (like a group of 3-4), try to talk to others who are there too. For instance, we were able to share our passes with 6 other people whom we don't know. Just talk to other people who will visit the Fantasy world, add a little drama that you know each other and yes, I am sure na mas makakatipid kayo. More people, less money for the entrance.
